A Cinematic Trailer Project
My role as a cinematic artist is to deliver high-quality shots with my team. Within our pipeline, I serve as a generalist, taking on responsibilities across various disciplines such as lighting, animation, and more. This multifaceted position allows me to either create content or provide assistance throughout the pipeline process.

I utilize pre-made animation assets and integrate them into the engine, designing the timing and blending to craft facial animations for background characters. Recently, I have enhanced my workflow, enabling me to animate a greater number of background faces across more scenes, achieving a higher level of efficiency compared to the previous FC 24 project.
Tech Update and VFX

Adjusting the soccer player’s appearance, outfit, and team, as well as ads and all elements linked to a specific match.
The tech updates encompass elements such as the dirt map (as detailed on the FC 24 project page) and ID updating to augment the authenticity of each shot and ensure every detail aligns with the actual football world. It is essential that every boot, jersey, logo, and advertisement is updated to reflect these changes accurately.
Animation ingestion is another critical component of the process, involving the integration of .fbx animation files into the Frostbite engine.
Additionally, my work on VFX included the incorporation of grass and water splashes beneath the players' feet, further enhancing the visual details.

The screenshot, intended for in-game use, is not yet released, and therefore, specific details cannot be disclosed.
Creating a screenshot involves tasks similar to those of a cinematic shot; however, as it is a still image, it serves as an excellent foundation for learning the setup and creation of a cinematic scene from the beginning.
I had the chance to craft my first original shot for the screenshot team. My responsibilities included setting up the shot, blending animations, camera work, scene composition, and lighting. The process entailed positioning cameras, players, animations, and props, designing the lighting, and incorporating effects such as fog and lens flare to enhance the visual appeal. This task offered a comprehensive learning experience and a chance to exercise creativity.

Accomplishments and Skills Acquired
The EA SPORTS FC 25 Official Reveal Trailer was successfully launched, gaining millions of views globally. Working with my team, I acquired significant experience in both technical abilities and the pipeline.
Compared to my previous semester, we accelerated our pace and enhanced our efficiency in task completion. Additionally, I embraced the opportunity to tackle new challenges. The screenshot assignment was particularly beneficial, as it improved my lighting skills through feedback from my peers. Receiving direct feedback from seasoned professionals is precisely why I want to work in a Co-op position. This experience wasn't limited to the screenshot task; it extended to all assignments, with the team consistently providing support and valuable insights.
